This portfolio showcases a selection of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) photography, capturing viewpoints with precision and consistency to support accurate visual assessments for planning and environmental reporting.

LVIA photography is used to accurately record existing landscape conditions and support Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments. Photographs are taken from agreed representative viewpoints to illustrate how a site and its surroundings are experienced, providing the visual baseline for assessment.
Images are captured in accordance with industry guidance, including GLVIA3 and Landscape Institute Advice Notes, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Professional full-frame cameras, typically paired with a 50mm prime lens, are used to replicate natural human perspective.
These photographs form the foundation for visual analysis and are often used as the base images for photomontages, helping to clearly demonstrate how proposed developments may appear within the landscape.
